Mori will be joined onstage by her friends in a night of song and community, where we all come together to help support the highest priority needs at McMaster Children’s Hospital such as; life-saving equipment, patient programs and amenities, training and education of our health care providers, and the redevelopment of clinical care spaces.
At the helm will be Mori, performing throughout the night, singing some of her favourite songs. Alongside her will be other CBY students and friends, performing songs from musical theatre, pop and more. From performer to audience, we will all be united in our love of Mori and her family.
There will also be a silent auction art exhibition running all night, where audience members can bid on locally painted, original works of art.
All proceeds from ticket sales and the silent auction will go towards Mori’s fundraising goal of $10,000 for McMaster Children’s Hospital and the incredible work they do.
Mori is an outgoing kid with a love for the performing arts. As a toddler, she began experiencing a series of stubborn infections that just would not go away. Tests revealed a rare bacterial infection and complications with her kidney and ureter, resulting in a diagnosis of Vesicoureteral Reflux.
Mori underwent surgery twice to address her condition, but her journey was far from over. Despite continued treatment and care, breakthrough infections remain a part of her life.
Mori navigates her chronic condition with unwavering courage and the support of a hospital that understands her unique needs.

We are honoured to perform on the traditional territory of the Haudenosaunee, Anishinabewaki, Neutral and Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation Peoples. Beneath our feet and all around us are the spirits of those who have come before, who have stewarded this land and have felt the intense burden of a colonial presence. We honour their artistic traditions as we present to you our own today.
